By virtue of being Tom's daughter, Mary grew up learning financial planning. In 2002 she officially joined the firm: a college graduate earning minimum wage, filing. She earned her stockbroker registration (7) in the fall of 2002. Tom didn't want nepotism in the firm, so he and his partners at the time had Mary build her own business. In 2014, Mary became a firm partner.

Mary is passionate about financial planning. Her clients become friends and family to her. She and the Taylor & Huntley team have developed processes to help guide people through the many complex decisions in life- from welcoming a new family member to burying an aged parent and everything in between.

One of Mary's hobbies is understanding leadership. She has been involved with leadership at different levels, starting in the local Gifted program in elementary school, and has concertedly pursued understanding and developing leadership within herself and others since that time. She has been a student of Arizona's Center for Rural Leadership (Project CENTRL, class XX).

Mary is married to Chris Huntley and they have 2 children, Tanner and Elaina.

Mary serves and has served on various public and private boards. A few are: Camp Verde Chamber of Commerce, YES the ARC, Yavapai County Industrial Authority, Flagstaff's STEM City, Yavapai County Community Foundation, and the Arizona Community Foundation of Flagstaff. Mary spent pre-child years coaching and mentoring high school youth.

Before kids, Mary traveled extensively pursuing culture, knowledge, relationships, running, hunting and rock climbing. Now Mary and Chris look forward to the return of those days, and perhaps nights of uninterrupted sleep.
